Want to Race in the Boston Dragon Boat Festival?
CAAC is recruiting paddlers for the Cambridge Community Dragonboat Team! No experience needed—beginners welcome! Join us for the exciting race on Sunday, June 8th, at the 46th Boston Dragon Boat Festival.
There will be four training sessions to prepare (required to participant at least one of the sessions) :
- Mon., May 12 | 7:00–8:00 PM
- Fri., May 16 | 7:00–8:00 PM
- Fri., May 23 | 7:00–8:00 PM
- Mon., June 2 | 6:00–7:00 PM
Pre-Race: Sat., June 7
Race Day: Sun., June 8 (Must attend)
Location:
All training and racing will take place on the Charles River.
Meet at: MIT Richard J. Resch Boathouse (409 Memorial Dr, Cambridge, MA).
Fees:
Registration fee is $40, covering all the training and racing;
and there might be a $20 for team shirt.

Getting there:
Bus: Route # 1, get off at 77 Massachusetts Ave, then walk for 9 minutes.
Bus: Route CT2, Amesbury St @ Vassar St, then walk for 11 minutes.
Parking can be challenging. Try street parking on Memorial Drive both south side (*free*) and north side (meter) near MIT boathouse, or Vassar St (meter).
