On Saturday, October 17, 14 CAAC volunteers spent the afternoon at the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB). They joined volunteers from Yale Appliance and several individual volunteers, 26 people in all.
The team packed 360 cases of family meal boxes, about 10,440 pounds of food. GBFB estimates this will provide about 8,700 meals for families in need across Eastern Massachusetts.
